The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) has announced Bernie Lewis among the finalists for the industry’s ninth annual MFAA Excellence Awards.
This is Bernie Lewis’ second consecutive year as an MFAA finalist. It is nominated in the highly competitive 2012 MFAA Excellence Award category for Mortgage Broking Business of the Year.
“We are honoured to have been recognised yet again by our industry peers and to have been selected from all the nominees across the country as a finalist for this prestigious award,” said Stefan Lipkiewicz, Chief Executive Officer of Bernie Lewis.
“The past year has been full of changes and challenges for the home lending market, but Bernie Lewis has been able to stay ahead of the pack due to our commitment and expertise in the lending market and to our integrated advice model providing lifetime financial advice to South Australians. This, we believe, has enabled us to grow and prosper during challenging economic times.
“We value long-term client relationships, and look at each client’s holistic financial situation and needs. This enables us to provide professional advice – not just for the short term, but also into the future. This, we believe, has enabled us to grow and prosper during challenging economic times.
“Bernie Lewis is extremely proud to make the finalist list again this year after winning the same category in 2011.”
The MFAA Excellence Awards are the most rigorous in the Australian mortgage and finance industry and are judged by an independent panel of business professionals and experts.
MFAA Chief Executive Officer, Phil Naylor, said the Association acknowledged 42 finalists in this year’s awards. Judging is based on consistent professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct, innovation and role model value.
“Bernie Lewis’ continued innovation, growth and success in the industry is to be commended,” Mr Naylor said. “To be recognised again as a finalist speaks volumes of their exceptional practice and professionalism in mortgage and finance industry.”
The winners will be announced at the MFAA Excellence Awards presentation dinner on 9 March 2012 at The Westin in Sydney.
